About ProductionLens
We are building the production-finance control tower for Indian content.
ProductionLens is a product of Reya Technologies LLP, based in Mumbai, India. We work with audit firms, line producers, and studios to turn the spreadsheet-driven Plan → Commit → Spend → Reconcile → Report → Audit loop into a governed system of record.
Founding thesis
Indian content production is spreadsheet-heroic and audit-blind.
The Budget Master, Expense Master, Payment Master, and Vendor Master live in a network of .xlsx files reconciled by hand. The result: variance is discovered at wrap, GST and TDS exposure is litigated quarter-by-quarter, and audit firms close engagements in three weeks of partner time.
We do not believe the answer is a generic ERP, or AI that posts journals. The answer is a deterministic ledger built around the ACQ chart-of-accounts and the Indian tax engine, with AI assisting at the edges — mapping, drafting variance remarks, summarising risk — and humans approving every mutation.
Our wedge is spreadsheet ingestion plus Budget vs Actual reconciliation plus a variance report a studio or financier can actually sign off on. From that wedge we grow into approvals, vendor dues, GSTR-2B reconciliation, and the close pack.
We sell to the auditor first, then to line producers and production accountants, then to studios and OTT platforms. Every product decision is filtered through the question: would the audit partner sign this off?
